Three irregular migrants from Afghanistan were caught in the trailer of a garbage-laden truck in Amasya.

In Amasya,a truck loaded with garbage was stopped at a road checkpoint during operations conducted as part of the fight against migrant smuggling.
During the inspection carried out by the Police Department teams, 3 irregular migrants hidden in the truck's trailer were identified as citizens of Afghanistan. The apprehended irregular migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation procedures. The driver was taken into custody, and processing at the police station is ongoing.
