On the 3rd day of Eid al-Adha, reckless individuals dumped sacrificial animal offal into the irrigation canals in the Akarcalı neighborhood of the Yüreğir district. The canals, where many remains—primarily hides and internal organs—were discarded, have begun to emit a foul odor.
Local residents reacted to the situation.
