Knife attack on police officer in Bağcılar
In Istanbul's Bağcılar district, a police officer sitting in a patrol vehicle was subjected to a knife attack by an unidentified individual. The assailant opened the door, stabbed the officer, and fled the scene. It was reported that the injured officer is not in life-threatening condition.

In an incident that occurred around noon today in Bağcılar, a police officer sitting in a patrol vehicle was subjected to a knife attack. According to information obtained, a suspicious individual approached the police vehicle parked in the square and observed the surroundings for a while.
THE SUSPECT OPENED THE POLICE VEHICLE DOOR AND ATTACKED
After checking the surroundings for a while, the suspect opened the vehicle door and attacked the police officer inside with a knife. Police teams have launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the individual, who fled the scene rapidly following the attack.
INJURED POLICE OFFICER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification, medical teams arrived at the scene, provided initial intervention to the injured police officer, and transported him to the hospital. It was learned that the officer, who sustained an injury to his arm, is in good health and is not in life-threatening condition.
