The Ministry of Family and Social Services is preparing to file a criminal complaint against social media influencer Mükremin Gezgin. The Ministry took action following the sharing of a video that included children.
According to information obtained from Ministry sources, steps will be taken to bring Mükremin Gezgin to trial for the images that sparked significant backlash on social media, under the charges of "lewd acts" as defined in Article 225 and "obscenity" as regulated in Article 226 of the Turkish Penal Code.
