All eyes in the CHP are turned to the primary election on March 23, where the presidential candidate will be determined.

While Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş has decided not to participate in the primary, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will enter the primary as the sole candidate.

While the question of whether Yavaş, who repeatedly reminds everyone that "the election date is not set," will be a presidential candidate remains a subject of debate, Yavaş had stated that he stands with İmamoğlu but also reminded that all options remain on the table.

YAVAŞ SPOKE WITH AN ELDERLY WOMAN

Yavaş, who met with citizens in Ankara, spoke with an elderly woman. The dialogue between the two drew attention.

"BECOME THE PRESIDENT FROM ANKARA, I BEG OF YOU"

The elderly woman said to Yavaş, "Become the President from Ankara, I beg of you. Honestly, two have come from the Black Sea, they have come from everywhere, please become one from Ankara, I beg of you."

"INSHALLAH, YOU PRAY"

Yavaş, who did not leave the elderly citizen's words unanswered, replied, "Inshallah, you pray." This response from Yavaş brought the question "Will he be a presidential candidate?" back to the agenda.
