Republican People's Party (CHP) presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a message through his lawyers from Silivri Prison, where he is being held.
In his video message shared for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, he read the Address to the Youth.
The following statements were included in İmamoğlu's post:

Your primary duty is to preserve and defend the Turkish independence and the Turkish Republic forever.
The strength you need is present in the noble blood in your veins.'
