As the political agenda continues to be extremely intense and tense, the tension is also affecting those who comment on it. Most recently, a dispute broke out between Mete Yarar and Şaban Sevinç, who were evaluating the agenda as guests on a live broadcast.

Journalist Şaban Sevinç, who was evaluating the diploma investigation opened against IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu and arguing that the process was proceeding incorrectly, was criticized by Mete Yarar while he was making his comments.

Following Yarar's remark, "You are claiming that the court gave a sentence that does not exist," Şaban Sevinç left his comment unfinished and moved in his seat, stating, "It cannot give a sentence that does not exist, brother, how can it?"

At that moment, when Sevinç placed the pointer he was holding on the table with force, he was met with a reaction from Mete Yarar. The following dialogue took place between the two:

M.Y.: What are you hitting?

Ş.S.: What did I hit, did I hit you?

M.Y.: Am I your subordinate? Are you trying to lecture me?
