Minister Yerlikaya announces: 3 organized crime groups dismantled in Istanbul

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on X that 3 organized crime groups were dismantled as part of the Kafes-40 operations. Additionally, 24 suspects were apprehended.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"In the "KAFES-40" operations carried out simultaneously in Istanbul;

The organized crime group led by Emre ÖZCAN, the organized crime group led by Önder KÜÇÜK, and the organized crime group led by Sergen SOLAK—3 separate organized crime groups were dismantled! 24 suspects were apprehended in the operations, including 2 group leaders (1 of whom is abroad)!"
