According to AFAD data, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Marmaris at approximately 02:17, at a depth of 67.91 kilometers.
The tremor was felt intensely in the districts of Muğla and Aydın. Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık announced that 69 citizens were affected by the earthquake and that a 14-year-old youth lost their life due to a panic attack.
