The incident occurred around 17:00 on May 1 in the Ulus neighborhood of Ceyhan district. A child playing on the street ran across the road to escape after dogs began running toward them. Noticing the frightened child running away, local shopkeepers rushed to help with wooden sticks in hand.
The dogs, which continued to run toward the child, were driven away by the intervention of the shopkeepers. The moments when the child was saved from the dog attack at the last second were reflected on a business's security camera.
