Motorcyclists who shot at businessman's car caught: Security cameras captured the pursuit moment by moment
In Ataşehir, businessman L.A. was subjected to an armed attack on his vehicle by two people on a motorcycle while he was driving. Following the attack, which left 4 bullet holes in the car, the Public Security Branch Office's Robbery Bureau teams launched an investigation and detained 2 foreign nationals. The attackers were referred to court after their interrogation and were arrested and sent to prison.

On November 5, 2023, in Ataşehir, businessman L.A. went to the police and filed a complaint, stating that an armed attack had been carried out on his vehicle while he was driving.
Giving a statement to the Public Security Branch Office's Robbery Bureau, which arrived at the scene, L.A. said, “On November 3, while I was driving my car, two individuals on a motorcycle fired at my vehicle and fled the scene. When I checked my car, I saw that there were 4 bullet impacts on my left rear door.”

“I did business with a person named B.D. However, he did not pay me. For this reason, I stopped working. Later, I started being threatened by people I did not know. They asked me for money. However, I refused every time. Finally, on November 4, I learned that the car my daughter was driving was also being followed by an individual on a motorcycle,” he said.
THEY CONFESSED TO THEIR CRIMES DURING INTERROGATION
Following the information provided by L.A., the Public Security Branch Office's Robbery Bureau teams examined security camera and MOBESE footage and identified the final location where the motorcycle had gone. Continuing their efforts in this direction, the teams detained 29-year-old Shakir E. and 31-year-old Gafurjan H., both Turkmen nationals, on November 15.
In their interrogation at the Public Security Branch Office's Robbery Bureau, the suspects stated that they had carried out the shooting incident themselves and confessed that they were incited by a person named Rıfat, whose surname they did not know and who they claimed was in Ukraine.
After their interrogation, the 2 foreign attackers were referred to court, arrested, and sent to prison.
