In Sivas, students from the 1-E class at Kızılırmak Primary School, with the support of their teachers, prepared a mock newspaper announcing the proclamation of the Republic. Dressed in period clothing, the students distributed the newspaper in Republic Square, shouting, "Extra, extra, read all about it: The Republic is being proclaimed."
Kızılırmak Primary School Principal Yıldıran Yıldırım stated that they had organized a unique event.
Thanking the teachers and students who contributed, Yıldırım said, "We continue in the footsteps of Atatürk and on the path of the Republic. Awareness works; people react positively to such things. We were also happy with these reactions. We are enjoying the joy of this moment."
