Natural gas explosion in Kocaeli! Captured second by second
Security camera footage of the natural gas explosion that occurred on December 28 in the Darıca district of Kocaeli has emerged. The explosion left 13 people injured and caused significant damage to the building.

The explosion occurred on the ground floor of a 4-story building on 1524 Street in the Abdi İpekçi neighborhood around 7:15 PM on Saturday, December 28. A fire broke out in the building following the explosion. Upon notification, numerous fire, AFAD, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was extinguished by fire crews, and the 13 injured individuals were taken to the hospital after receiving initial medical intervention from emergency teams.
