Natural gas explosion in Tekirdağ! 2 people trapped on the 4th floor
A natural gas-related explosion occurred in the Bağlık neighborhood of the Çerkezköy district in Tekirdağ. While 2 people were injured in the explosion, windows of surrounding buildings were shattered. The fire was extinguished by the intervention of fire crews.

A fire broke out in the apartment following the explosion, which was stated to be caused by natural gas. The apartment was damaged in the explosion, which left 2 people injured, and windows of surrounding buildings were shattered. Upon notification, police, medical, and fire crews were dispatched to the address. The injured were taken to Çerkezköy State Hospital for treatment.
Fire crews intervened and extinguished the fire. 4 people, including 2 children, who were trapped on the 4th floor of the building, were evacuated using the fire truck's ladder.
Çerkezköy District Governor Nazmi Günlü arrived at the scene to monitor the efforts. Günlü stated that according to initial information, the explosion was caused by natural gas. Noting that a total of 13 people lived in the building and the 2 injured individuals were taken to the hospital as a precaution, Günlü stated that the exact cause of the explosion would be determined following further investigations.
