One body had been recovered: Interior of the Batuhan A ship that sank in the Sea of Marmara has been filmed

Footage from under the wreckage of the Batuhan A cargo ship, which took on water and sank southwest of İmralı Island in the Sea of Marmara, and where one body was recovered yesterday, has emerged.

The 69-meter-long cargo ship "Batuhan A", which departed from Marmara Island in Balıkesir on February 14 at 20:30 with a crew of 6 and a cargo of 1250 tons of marble dust, bound for Roda Port in the Gemlik district of Bursa, sank on February 15 at 06:20 due to poor weather and sea conditions, 4 miles off the coast of the Karacabey district.

Yesterday (February 17), the body of one of the 6 missing crew members was recovered.

While search efforts continue, the interior of the Batuhan A ship has been filmed.
