Palestine protest at the Defense Industry Fair!

At the 17th International Defense Industry Fair held in Istanbul, protesters reacting to Israel's attacks staged a demonstration with slogans of Babies are being slaughtered. Police intervened against the group protesting in the fair area and carried out detentions.

The 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, supported by the Presidency of Defense Industries, and organized by KFA Fuarcılık AŞ under the responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, has opened its doors at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM).

The fair is considered one of the world's leading organizations in the field of defense industry. This year, participants from 44 countries have opened stands. Over 400 international companies are exhibiting their products and technologies. Furthermore, it was announced that high-level figures, including ministers from 33 countries, over 120 deputy ministers, chiefs of general staff, and force commanders, will visit the fair.

PALESTINE PROTEST AT THE FAIR

While IDEF 2025 was underway, a group of protesters staged a demonstration in the fair area to draw attention to Israel's attacks on Gaza. The group, chanting "Babies are being slaughtered" and "Murderers," called for support for the Palestinian people.

POLICE INTERVENTION AND DETENTIONS

Security forces intervened in a short time and removed the protesters from the area. Police teams detained some of the individuals participating in the demonstration. Following the detention procedures, the protesters were placed into police vehicles waiting nearby and removed from the scene.
