Passenger bus suddenly bursts into flames in Aydın
A passenger bus caught fire while traveling in Aydın, turning the vehicle into a heap of scrap metal, while passengers barely managed to escape.

In the incident that occurred around 21:30 at the Söke Junction on the Aydın-İzmir Highway, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in a passenger bus belonging to the Pamukkale company, which was operating on the Muğla-İzmir route, while it was in motion.
FLAMES ENGULFED THE BUS IN A SHORT TIME
The passengers, who noticed the flames and were in great shock, got off the bus in a desperate rush. Upon the notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the region. While the flames engulfed the entire bus in a short time, the teams from the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, who arrived at the scene, intervened and extinguished the fire.
BUS RENDERED UNUSABLE
While the passengers watched the work of the fire crews with fearful eyes, the completely burned bus was rendered unusable. The fact that there were no deaths or injuries in the fire was a source of relief.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
