Person found shot in the chest in mosque restroom: Gunshots during noon prayer
In the Darıca district of Kocaeli, a person was found shot in the chest in a mosque restroom. Police teams arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation.

40-year-old A.L. was found shot in the chest at the Ensar Mosque on Lokman Hekim Street in the Osmangazi neighborhood. It was learned that the incident occurred during the noon prayer. Members of the congregation, who went to the restroom after hearing a gunshot, found A.L. on the ground with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. Upon notification, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
A.L., who was seriously injured, was taken to Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital after initial intervention by medical teams. It was learned that A.L. remains in critical condition.
Crime scene investigation teams conducted an examination in and around the mosque's restroom. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
