On the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, citizens in Hatay gathered to honor those who lost their lives in the disaster.
Citizens who gathered at Yunus Emre Park wanted to hold a silent march toward Cumhuriyet Square.
However, the police set up a barricade in the area. The earthquake survivors' march was blocked.
The citizens protested with slogans such as "Barricades for murderers, not the public," "Governor resign," "We do not forgive," and "Open the gates."
