Return date and time for Turkey's first astronaut Gezeravcı announced

The “Axiom-3 space mission,” which included Turkey's first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı and 3 other astronauts, has concluded. A farewell ceremony was held today for Gezeravcı and his 3 crewmates, who docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on January 20.
In his speech at the farewell ceremony, Gezeravcı, who conducted 13 different scientific experiments over 14 days on the ISS, thanked his crewmates and all the astronauts and cosmonauts on the ISS.
Gezeravcı said, “I would also like to thank the Republic of Turkey for its bold and determined decision to take a step into human space missions during our centenary, which we are proud of. I am deeply honored and happy to have carried out Turkey's first manned space mission, which we performed in the new century of Turkey, as a continuation of our history that we are proud of.
I hope that this mission we have carried out will be an inspiring beginning for our dear youth, who are the guarantee of our future. This was the starting point of a story, not a destination. May our path forward be auspicious for our entire nation,” he said.
FAREWELL CEREMONY HELD. GEZERAVCI'S RETURN DATE AND TIME ANNOUNCED
The Axiom-3 space mission, in which Turkey's first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı participated, officially began on January 19. The Falcon-9 rocket, which carried Gezeravcı and his fellow astronauts into orbit via SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft, was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on January 19 at 00:49.
The Dragon spacecraft carrying Gezeravcı and the 3 other astronauts docked at the International Space Station on January 20 at 13:40 (TRT) after a space journey lasting approximately 36 hours.
