Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı has drawn backlash for a post in which he compared visits to Anıtkabir to the "stoning of the devil" ritual. 

Kütahyalı stated, "We need to understand Atatürk supporters through the psychology of the religious. We make fun of it from time to time, but perhaps we are not doing the right thing."

In his remarks, Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı sparked a debate on social media by saying, "The stoning of the devil and what is done at Anıtkabir are similar actions. Let neither the religious nor the Atatürk supporters be angry with me."
