'Santa Claus' murder in Sakarya: 20-year-old youth loses his life

A fight that broke out on New Year's Eve in the Serdivan district of Sakarya has led to the death of a 20-year-old. The incident occurred yesterday in the Arabacıalanı neighborhood of the Serdivan district. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between two groups for an unknown reason just minutes before the New Year. The incident, which quickly escalated into a fight, involved the use of a knife and a screwdriver. During the fight, Nesrullah T. and Bakır Şahan Saçaklı (20) were injured. Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured, who received initial treatment from the medical teams arriving at the scene, were taken to Serdivan State Hospital. Bakır Şahan Saçaklı, whose condition was critical, could not be saved despite the interventions at the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital, where he had been transferred. Following the incident, the 17-year-old suspect identified as A.O.G. was apprehended by police teams.
