Participating in journalist Candaş Tolga's program on Ekoltv, Şener Üşümezsoy responded to the question, "They criticize you by saying 'You have no international publications, there can be no such scientific discourse,' what would you like to say to this?"

Üşümezsoy spoke as follows:

"I am one of the best geologists in Turkey, I am a name who has studied geology all over Turkey, but they talk about international publications... A ship came, they followed it, and as a result, it has no scientific value because the studies conducted and the claims put forward a year later were debunked!

In what I say, there is a 'discourse and fact' relationship. What I say comes true, but their so-called articles were thrown in the trash. They said it would break from end to end, it was thrown in the trash.

I examined the breaking of the rocks, I examined the deformation of the rocks with a microscope.

I have six books on earthquakes, and none of the pages in these books have been debunked!

But none of the articles of the other friends in question are standing up."
