While reactions to Israel's policies continue, market owner Hüseyin Akot in the Fatsa district spent more than a week identifying Israeli products. Akot, who wrote "This is an Israeli product, please do not purchase" on the price tags of these items, also displayed his reaction by hanging banners at the entrances of his business. Akot stated that he will no longer sell Israeli products from now on.
“I THINK CITIZENS WILL UNDERSTAND US”
Market owner Hüseyin Akot stated that they expect understanding from citizens on this matter, saying, “Our hearts cannot bear the Israeli oppression. Muslims need to stand up and teach Israel a lesson. The least we can do is boycott Israeli goods. I have been working for a week to stop buying Israeli products; I have few products left, and I will remove them from the shelves as soon as possible and start a boycott to stop selling Israeli products. I hope that by everyone doing this, we will at least deal a blow to their economy. I know that citizens will understand and support us in this regard. Turkey already produces its own products in the food sector” he said.
