The resistance of KRT TV workers, who have not received their salaries for 2 months and have been unable to use their meal cards for 3 months, continues. A press statement was read at a support meeting for the workers who issued a call for solidarity.
The meeting was attended by the DİSK Basın-İş Union, Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) MP Erkan Baş, and representatives from the Labor Movement Party (EHP) and the Communist Movement of Turkey (TKH). Handan Koltuk read the press statement on behalf of the channel employees.
The statement said, "The KRT management is not making a statement to us while looking us in the eye. We want them to explain to us with full transparency what is going on. Give us back our salaries and our usurped rights."
