Stole 2 vehicles and robbed 1 in the same night: Car thief caught
A thief who stole 2 vehicles and robbed 1 in a single night in Istanbul was taken into custody by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Auto Theft Bureau. Following his interrogation, the thief was arrested and sent to prison.

On the night of December 1, 20-year-old Tolunay I. stole a parked vehicle belonging to an individual named D.K. in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. After abandoning that vehicle, he stole another car belonging to E.Ç. in Eyüpsultan the same night. Tolunay I. then returned to Zeytinburnu with the stolen vehicle and committed a theft from a car with a Çanakkale license plate.
Following complaints from the vehicle owners, teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Auto Theft Bureau launched an investigation and examined security camera footage from the surrounding area. They identified the suspect as Tolunay I., who has a criminal record for 3 separate offenses. Teams raided the suspect's address in Fatih and took Tolunay I. into custody. After being referred to the court following his interrogation, Tolunay I. was arrested and sent to prison.
The 2 stolen vehicles were returned to their owners.
