In a statement released by the Sokak Kedisi YouTube account, it was reported that the woman's husband is a colonel who served in the military for 35 years.

'I AM DEVASTATED'

The following statements were included in the announcement made by the channel's official account:

"I am very sad. I am devastated. We have published 1,000 interview videos to date. We have removed any statements that could be considered criminal elements from all of our interviews. N.K., the wife of a colonel who served in the Turkish military for 35 years, was arrested on the grounds that she made insulting and slanderous remarks against Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his family, following the targeting of her statements in this interview by social media trolls."
