Suspect fleeing police caught after being tripped by a citizen
In Kayseri, a convict attempting to flee from police was caught after falling to the ground when a citizen tripped him.

Teams from the Kayseri Provincial Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch attempted to stop a vehicle driven by E.P. (24), whom they found suspicious on Kale Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood.
The driver, E.P., who did not comply with the police's "stop" order, crashed into the car in front of him, then got out of his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.
The driver, who lost his balance and fell to the ground after a citizen waiting on the sidewalk "tripped" him, was apprehended by police teams.
It was determined that E.P. had a finalized prison sentence of 16 years and 11 months for the crime of "robbery."
The convict, who was also fined 28 thousand 150 lira under the relevant articles of the Traffic Law, is currently undergoing processing at the police station.
