Tense meeting at CHP PM: Shouting heard in the hall

The CHP Central Executive Committee (MYK) met today around noon to determine mayoral candidates for new provinces and districts. During the meeting, which lasted approximately 6 hours, mayoral candidates were determined for around 200 provinces and districts, including 6 metropolitan municipalities.
The Party Assembly (PM), which convened following the CHP MYK meeting, witnessed tense moments.
While the PM meeting was ongoing, shouting erupted in front of the hall.
IT IS ALLEGED THAT THE DISPUTE WAS OVER CANDIDACY
Shouting was heard from the hall where the CHP Party Assembly was being held. Mersin Deputy Hasan Ufuk Çakır left the hall while shouting at CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır.
It was learned that the argument was related to the Mersin candidates. It was reported that Çakır, who supports the current Mayor of Mezitli, Neşet Tarhan, shouted at Başarır during the dispute.
