Terrifying moments in Kayseri caught on camera: Driver suffers heart attack, hits 4 people and crashes into a shop
In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, a car went out of control after the driver suffered a heart attack, hitting 4 people crossing the road before crashing into a shop. In the accident, which turned into a scene of chaos, the driver lost his life, while security camera footage captured the moment the car hit the pedestrians, dragged a child underneath it, and sent a man flying into the shop.

The accident occurred on Cengiz Topel Street in the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood of the district, when the Hyundai-brand car with license plate 38 NN 229, driven by Mustafa Koç, went out of control after the driver suffered a heart attack.
The car hit 4 people who were crossing the road and crashed into a shop. In the accident, T.Ö. was dragged after being trapped under the vehicle, while T.M. was thrown into the shop by the impact.
Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While T.Ö., who was trapped under the car, was rescued by citizens, the 4 injured people, including the driver, were taken to hospitals by ambulance. The driver, Mustafa Koç, who was learned to have suffered a heart attack, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.

SHOP OWNER DESCRIBES THE MOMENTS
Shop owner Bekir Oral said, "We were working in our shop around 6:00 PM, and we had customers. It happened in an instant. There was a loud noise, glass flew inside, and the furniture was broken. We didn't understand what was happening. The car was still running and the accelerator was being pressed. We turned off the ignition and stopped it that way. Citizens rescued the child who was trapped under the vehicle. We also pulled out the driver. He had suffered a heart attack. He passed away. It hit the pedestrians passing by and sent them into my shop. We didn't know what was happening. We were in shock. My shop is 2-3 steps up. Thank God it hit the pillar. Otherwise, it would have gone deep into the shop. The damage doesn't matter, but I wish there hadn't been a loss of life."
Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Uysal also stated that the driver had suffered a heart attack and that the vehicle stopped after hitting a column, noting that if it weren't for the column, it could have caused a much greater tragedy.
