Terrifying moments on a public bus: Driver faints!

In the İzmit district of Kocaeli, a private public bus became the scene of terrifying moments on the D-100 highway when the driver fainted. The bus, which went out of control, first hit another bus and then crashed into barriers, dragging along. The incident was recorded by the bus's security camera.

In the accident that occurred yesterday around 10:30 in the Serdar neighborhood of İzmit, the driver of the private public bus, M.Y., who was traveling in the direction of Istanbul, fell ill behind the wheel. After the driver fainted, the bus went out of control and first struck another public bus. The bus then hit the barriers and, by chance, continued on its way without hitting other vehicles on the road.

Following the accident, one of the passengers intervened to revive the driver, M.Y., while the bus was moving at speed. The passenger, who tried to help the driver regain control by saying, 'Come to your senses, brother,' managed to stop the bus after approximately 1.5 kilometers.

After the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The bus driver, who was injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving initial treatment. It was learned that the driver is in good health.

The moment of the accident was reflected in the bus's interior and exterior security cameras. The cameras clearly showed the moments when the driver struggled behind the wheel and fainted. The terrifying moments experienced as the bus went out of control were also recorded on camera.
