TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu accuses former administration of irregularities: 'Financial statements were manipulated'

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu was the guest on the program "Az Önce Konuştum," hosted by Candaş Tolga Işık.

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu announced that he would gift villas to the national team players if the A National Football Team qualifies for the World Cup, stating: "We haven't been able to go to the World Cup for 22 years. If you have such an opportunity and such a generation, you as the administration must do your duty. We will build 4,000 villas in Bodrum. We told our brothers there; 'The day you qualify for the World Cup, a house will be ready for each of you there; with the success you achieve, you may encounter things you never imagined.' I will probably pay for it out of my own pocket. 4,000 villas are going to be built, wouldn't one be enough for each of them?"

"THEY ENGAGED IN AN ACT OF INTIMIDATION AGAINST US"

İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made statements regarding the removal of Lale Cander from her positions as TFF Vice President, Executive Board Member, and Board Member in charge of Sponsorships and Marketing.

Hacıosmanoğlu said, "When we held our first board meeting, I told my colleagues: 'Our goal is to do good things; if we cannot, we will hand over the duty to those who can. I have only one request from you: I do not want anyone's name to be mentioned in connection with financial matters involving the federation's identity after we leave here.' This colleague of ours also has various other businesses.

It caused discomfort throughout the entire board of directors. We learned that she engaged in an act of intimidation against us by leaking things that did not happen at the federation as if they had, and having news reports written about them. All our board members were uncomfortable with this.

She must have had some business with the state. There were issues regarding her work.

When she sent voice messages to our colleagues containing insults, things moved to other matters. We said, 'Let her resign and leave.' It is out of the question for us to accept behaviors that are contrary to our principles," he said.

"4 MILLION 681 THOUSAND EUROS SPENT ON HOSTING GUESTS"

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu also made striking statements regarding the expenditures made by the previous TFF administration. Hacıosmanoğlu said, "4 million 681 thousand euros were spent on hosting guests. They recently brought another document before me; an invoice for another 70 thousand euros arrived from Europe. After the championship ended, the guests stayed for another 2-3 days; that is their invoice. They stayed in luxury places. The championship is over, why are you still staying there?" he said.

Continuing his statements, Hacıosmanoğlu also announced that irregularities were committed in the financial statements during the Büyükekşi administration.

Regarding the former administration, the TFF President stated, "The federation's financial balance sheet, which appeared to be 5 million lira in the black, was actually in the red by 272 million and some change."
