An argument that broke out between an elderly woman and a young person in a chain grocery store over the 'Ottoman Empire vs. Turkey' has become one of the most shared videos on social media.

In the footage of the argument shared by the social media account Pendik Duysun, it was seen that when the elderly woman insisted, "This is Ottoman land," the young person replied, "This is the Republic of Turkey, not the Ottoman Empire," and shouted, "Auntie, this is the Republic of Turkey. You will not steal my country from me." 

Those moments were recorded with a mobile phone camera and became a trending topic on social media.
