The police statement of Suat Güney, the murderer who killed his common-law wife and two daughters in Ümraniye, has been revealed!

In Istanbul's Ümraniye district, Suat Güney shot and killed his common-law wife, Yasemin Ünlü, and their daughters, 31-year-old Zeliha and 30-year-old Mine Güney.

Launching an investigation following the incident, the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate teams apprehended the murder suspect Suat Güneyin Kartal. The suspect, who was captured last night, will be referred to the courthouse today following his interrogation.

It was learned that the suspect, who was taken to the Public Security Branch for questioning, told the police who captured him that he committed the act in a moment of rage.

Following the investigation conducted by the homicide bureau, Suat Güney and his friend who helped hide him, Fikret D. were sent to the courthouse.

HE CONFESSED TO HIS CRIME

Following the investigation, the details of the incident also emerged. In his statement to the police, suspect Suat Güney, who was found to have been captured at a gym along with Fikret D. after the work carried out,

confessed that he first killed his eldest daughter, with whom he had argued. The suspect stated that he then shot his other daughter and his common-law wife. In his statement to the police, the suspect claimed that his common-law wife and daughters did not listen to him and did not do what he told them to do, and that they frequently argued for this reason. Suat Güney, who said he lost control of himself on the day of the incident, claimed that he did not fully remember what he had done.

3 HANDGUNS AND A KNIFE WERE FOUND ON HIM

During the search conducted by the police on the suspect, 3 handguns, a large number of bullets in 6 magazines, a knife, a passport, and a large amount of foreign currency were seized.

HIS FRIEND ALSO GAVE A STATEMENT

Details of how the murder suspect hid after the incident have emerged. As a result of the work by the Homicide Bureau teams, it was determined that the suspect fled in his car after committing the crime, and after a while, he abandoned his vehicle and got into another car. It was determined that the person who picked up Suat Güney in his car was his friend, a gym owner named Fikret D. Fikret D., who brought the murder suspect to his gym, stated that he was unaware of the murder and that Suat Güney had called him on the phone and asked to be picked up. The suspect Fikret D. said,"He called me on the phone and asked me to come to him. I picked him up in my car and we went to the gym together. While on the road, I saw that he was upset and asked him why. He told me he would explain in 3 hours. I had no knowledge of the incident." it was learned.
