Thief attempting to rob bakery caught red-handed: Shopkeeper smashes pastry tray over his head
A thief who entered a bakery in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, posing as a customer, was caught red-handed. The shopkeeper smashed the pastry tray he was holding over the thief's head.

A theft incident occurred 2 weeks ago on Erdal İnönü Street in the Kazımiye neighborhood of the Çorlu district in Tekirdağ.
An individual who entered the business in the early hours of the morning disguised as a customer dove for the cash register when he saw no one inside. The individual stuffed the money from the register into his jacket pocket. Shopkeeper Osman Kuyu, who noticed the incident while it was in progress, could not control himself upon spotting the thief. In a moment of anger, the shopkeeper smashed a pastry tray over the thief's head. Following the incident, the thief, who had stuffed the money into his pocket, fled the scene. Police teams, arriving upon notification, apprehended the thief in a short time after identifying him from security camera footage.
The suspect, E.A., was released under judicial control conditions by the court he was brought before.
