Truck loses control and crosses into opposite lane: 1 dead, 1 injured
In the Menemen district of İzmir, a truck driver lost control of the steering wheel, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with three vehicles. The truck driver died at the scene, while the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident was injured.

The accident occurred yesterday around 16:30 in the Camiikebir neighborhood section of the İzmir-Çanakkale Road. The truck driven by Mustafa Güzel, which was traveling in the direction of Aliağa, crossed into the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. At that moment, the truck collided with a truck driven by M.M. heading toward Menemen, then with a pickup truck driven by I.K., and finally came to a stop after hitting a truck driven by S.K. Upon notification by witnesses, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
DIED AT THE SCENE
While police teams took security measures on the road, medical teams determined during their examination that Mustafa Güzel, the driver of the truck that crossed into the opposite lane and hit three vehicles, had died at the scene. Güzel's body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue following the prosecutor's investigation. S.K., one of the drivers involved in the accident, was slightly injured and was transported to the hospital by medical teams.

Meanwhile, the moment of the accident was captured by a security camera at a nearby business. The footage shows the truck crossing into the opposite lane, followed by another truck losing its balance, rolling into the ditch, and overturning.
