A Turkish flag was hung on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge for the first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı.

The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı, was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center.
Following Gezeravcı's arrival in space, the Ministry of Industry and Technology hung the Turkish flag on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, along with banners for the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Turkish Space Agency, the National Technology Initiative, and the mission patch used by Alper Gezeravcı.
