TV100 commentators respond after Kübra Par's hand gesture! 'The President is our red line, we are pro-government!'

A hand gesture made by journalist Kübra Par at the end of the main news bulletin on TV100 has sparked widespread reaction on social media. Following interpretations that the gesture was a stance against the government, channel commentators Sinan Burhan and Hadi Özışık issued statements. In his statement, Burhan asserted that TV100 has always supported Erdoğan and that Kübra Par's gesture had nothing to do with the government.

Journalist Kübra Par, who anchors the main news bulletin on TV100, has become the center of a major debate on social media due to a hand gesture she made at the end of a broadcast. While some viewers interpreted Par's gesture as an attempt to send an anti-government message, Sinan Burhan, one of the channel's commentators known for his proximity to the ruling party, issued significant statements. Burhan stated that TV100 has always supported the President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, adding, "Kübra Par's gesture is unsightly, but it has nothing to do with the government."Furthermore, Burhan emphasized that the channel has never taken an anti-government stance, noting that he has been hosting programs on the channel for years and that the channel has always defended a domestic and national stance.

Burhan's statements are as follows: 

"I have been appearing on TV100 for two years. They have never suggested a single negative sentence against the government. Deniz Gürel is a friend of mine from Ankara whose journalism I can vouch for. I have always defended the national and domestic stance on this channel. The President is my red line. I was by Mr. Erdoğan's side even when he was politically banned. Therefore, those who jumped on the train later cannot lecture me. Kübra Par's gesture is unsightly. However, it has nothing to do with the government. This channel has always supported Mr. Erdoğan. Many journalists who support the AK Party, such as Hacı Yakışıklı, Ferhat Murat, Mehmet Acet, Resul Tosun, Hasan Öztürk, Hadi Özışık, and Fuat Uğur, are guests here. This is my knowledge. God knows the truth."

 

Another journalist close to the government, Hadi Özışık, also quoted Burhan's words and said,"My brother Sinan Burhan has clearly explained Kübra Par's gesture on TV100! Kübra Par made a statement, explained the situation regarding her director, stated that this gesture was an accident, and apologized. They turned it into an issue and interpreted it as a move against the government. I also vouch for Sinan Burhan's guarantee, my brother. The rest is just detail!" he said.
