Wife of deceased motorcycle courier speaks out: 'Police filed an incorrect report, I am filing a complaint'
The motorcycle courier who was injured in an accident involving Mohamed Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the son of the Somali President, has lost his life. Following the incident, the wife of the deceased courier spoke out.

The accident occurred on Thursday, November 30, around noon on Kennedy Street in the direction of Zeytinburnu, at the exit of the Eurasia Tunnel.
Motorcycle driver Yunus Emre Göçer (38), riding a motorcycle with license plate 16 AFL 804, was traveling on the coastal road when he slowed down his motorcycle to pull over to the side of the road.
Mohamed Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the son of the Somali President, who was driving in the same direction in his car with license plate 06 CD 4581, struck the motorcycle from behind.

POLICE FILED AN INCORRECT REPORT, I AM FILING A COMPLAINT
Öznur Göçer, the wife of the deceased motorcycle courier, said, "My late husband leaves behind two children and me; I do not want to be left alone for the sake of their future, and one of my children is already disabled. Because the two police officers there filed an incorrect report, they released the man immediately without taking any statement from him. I am also filing a complaint against the police officers there. We want the man to be arrested, and we had a hard time finding him anyway.
After the incident was reported in the media, camera footage started to reach us. I am filing a complaint against everyone who caused this. If it weren't for his fellow motorcycle courier friends, there would be nothing we could do. They made the greatest effort. This incident would have been covered up and forgotten.
I am asking for support from everyone. I thought it was a normal motorcycle accident. The moment his motorcycle fell, an alarm went off for his friends. His friends were the first to intervene. The man who hit him left the scene immediately. As you can see from the camera footage, he deliberately drove into my husband. I cannot even access the camera inside the Eurasia Tunnel," she said.
