A young person who was struck by a mass of snow and ice in Erzurum has lost their battle for life.
On the night of December 24, on 1st Sümbül Street in the Lalapaşa neighborhood, a mass of ice and snow fell from the roof of a building onto 22-year-old A.T.A. as they were walking in front of it.
COULD NOT BE SAVED
A.T.A., who was critically injured, passed away at the Atatürk University Research Hospital, where they had been taken.
The moment the snow and ice mass fell on the young person was captured by a security camera.
The footage shows A.T.A. collapsing to the ground while trying to escape as the snow and ice mass falls on them while walking.
The recordings show a passerby from the upper street noticing A.T.A. lying on the ground, approaching to intervene, and the arrival of an ambulance that transported the critically injured young person to the hospital.
