A tender was held by the village headman's office in the village of Bayramiç to rent out the village coffeehouse. Four villagers interested in the coffeehouse gathered in the hall designated by the headman's office to submit their bids. For a business that would normally be expected to rent for around 15 to 20 thousand liras per month, the bids rose unexpectedly.

As a result of the competitive bidding, a monthly rent figure of 126 thousand TL for the coffeehouse was reached. Upon the increasing competition between the parties and the rent reaching this level, village headman Aziz Koç intervened. Stating that "this figure, which has reached astronomical levels, does not align with the realities of our village," Koç decided to terminate the tender.

Following the cancellation of the tender, it was announced by the headman's office that a new tender process would be initiated soon. Residents of the region are expected to submit more reasonable bids in the new tender to be held in the coming days.

The date set for the operation of the village coffeehouse will be announced by the headman's office in the coming days.
