In the village of Balca, located in the center of Bayburt, an argument between two groups regarding the village head election turned into a brawl.
Talip Yıldırım, who was injured after being beaten during the fight, was taken to Bayburt State Hospital for treatment.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene.
Bayburt Governor Mustafa Eldivan and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Talha Övet arrived at the village and spoke with the parties involved.
