Visitor ban begins at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
It has been announced that no visitors will be accepted at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) between December 9 and 20 due to budget negotiations.

Visitor access to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will be suspended due to budget negotiations.
In a letter sent to members of parliament by the TBMM General Secretariat, the following statements were included:
"In accordance with the decision taken, the General Assembly will begin its sessions on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM, on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM, and at 11:00 AM on other days, and will continue until the daily program is completed.
During the budget negotiations, between December 9 and 20, 2024, in order for the honorable members of parliament to participate more effectively in the General Assembly proceedings, no visitors or vehicles, other than authorized personnel, will be allowed to enter the Grand National Assembly of Turkey."
