Volkan Konak's body to be brought to Turkey after autopsy

The Ministry of Health of Northern Cyprus announced that artist Volkan Konak, who fell ill on stage during his concert in the city of İskele and was taken to the hospital, has passed away. The news of Konak's death was met with great sadness by the art community and his fans.
TO BE BROUGHT TO TURKEY AFTER AUTOPSY PROCEDURES
The artist's body will be taken from the Gazimağusa State Hospital morgue to the Forensic Medicine Unit of Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia. Following the autopsy procedures to be conducted there, it is planned for Konak's funeral to be sent to Turkey by plane.
HAKAN ALTUN RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM OFFICIALS
Upon receiving the news of Volkan Konak's death, artist Hakan Altun went to Gazimağusa State Hospital to receive information from officials. Altun stated, "Our pain is great. I pray for God's mercy. It is a great loss. Condolences to us all."
TRNC MINISTRY OF HEALTH ISSUED A STATEMENT
The Ministry of Health of Northern Cyprus issued a written statement regarding Volkan Konak's sudden illness and the process of his hospitalization. The statement indicated that the artist was brought to the hospital at 00:17, but despite all interventions, he passed away at 00:42.
In a statement made by the Chief Physician's Office of Gazimağusa State Hospital, it was stated that the 112 emergency health team reached the scene quickly upon notification and that the first intervention for Konak was performed by doctors present at the hotel. Konak was intubated and transferred to the hospital, where advanced life support was applied by doctors for 25 minutes, but he could not be resuscitated despite all efforts.
