Warning from Naci Görür regarding the magnitude 4 earthquake in Denizli: 'There could be a problem'
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür drew attention to the faults in the three regions regarding the earthquakes that occurred today in Kahramanmaraş, Denizli, and Ankara, warning, "There could be a problem."

A magnitude 4 earthquake occurred in Denizli today.
A sense of panic still prevails in the city, where aftershocks of the magnitude 5.1 earthquake that occurred in recent days are being felt.
While no negative reports were made following the earthquakes, Naci Görür made statements on his social media account.
Pointing out that earthquakes have become more frequent these days, Görür evaluated the three earthquakes.
Naci Görür's social media post is as follows:
"Earthquakes have become more frequent these days. Recently, magnitude 4.0-4.2 earthquakes occurred in Denizli-Buldan, Huğtaş-Göksun-K. Maraş, and Çimen, Cihanbeyli-Konya.
According to the tectonic characteristics of the regions, these occurred either in grabens, in extensional zones, or in regions near strike-slip fault zones (Eskişehir Fault Zone, East Anatolian Fault Zone).
All these areas are faulted. Most of the faults are intraplate structures.
The Denizli-Buldan Fault has a high capacity.
The fault in Konya is a small segment, while the fault in K. Maraş could be a problem for the region. Get well soon."
