Warning on the 'process' from Ömer Çelik: Even if the water flows backward, we will do what is necessary

Çelik stated, "Some circles are taking steps to confuse the process of dissolution and laying down arms by putting forward maximalist and extreme ideas. Our President also expressed this in Kızılcahamam; he said water does not flow backward. But if the water does flow backward, we will do what is necessary." Speaking about Syria's request for aid from Turkey, Çelik said, "As long as our brotherly Syria requests it, Turkey's support is with them."

Stating that there should be no obstacles among NATO allies, AKP Spokesperson Çelik said, "The Eurofighter development is important in terms of overcoming certain obstacles. Our most important agenda remains Gaza, as always. It shows that the elements of genocide are being fulfilled regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid there. Netanyahu's prosecution for war crimes and genocide has now become a matter of humanity. Our President's efforts continue to ensure this siege is lifted. An attempt was made to create instability in Syria.

A pro-Zionist Druze group attempted to sabotage Syria's stability. The Netanyahu administration is the number one threat to regional and world peace. They should see that it is Netanyahu who puts Israel's security at risk. We believe that Syria's territorial integrity must be protected to the end.

Any such attempt is completely rejected, and we maintain the stance that any instability here poses a threat to our national security. It is said that there is ethnic and sectarian tension. They are accusing the legitimate administration in Syria of sectarianism. Even if it appears to be a sectarian conflict, there is a proxy war between major powers. Our Druze brothers in Lebanon, along with all our brothers, are defending Syria's unity and territorial integrity. It is wrong to present all Druze as such by putting forward one Druze group. Any ethnic or sectarian imagery here is part of proxy wars. One must see who is in the kitchen.

Last week, there was a debate regarding the LGS (High School Entrance Exam). False information was spread by opposition circles here. Within the framework of the politics of lies, the apple of this country's eye, the Imam Hatip schools, were viciously targeted. Although their lies were proven, they did not take any steps to correct either the false information or the politics of lies. This means it was a production of the politics of lies. Specifically, targeting the parents of our successful children because of their identities, professions, and affiliations shows the vicious mentality of those who do this. This is the politics of brutality. We will not allow this.

Our President stated at the opening of our Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting that the sensitivity regarding a 'Terror-Free Turkey' must continue exactly as it is. Some circles are putting forward maximalist and extreme ideas to cause confusion, taking steps to confuse the process of dissolution and laying down arms. Our President also expressed this in Kızılcahamam; he said water does not flow backward. But if the water does flow backward, we will do what is necessary. Therefore, Turkey has not given up on its struggle against terrorism. All our units are, of course, on duty. 

The Terror-Free Turkey process will also be carried out with great sensitivity. The necessary sensitivity will be shown by the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı). Our focus is the dissolution of the terrorist organization. It is the emergence of a Terror-Free Turkey and a Terror-Free region. It is seen that those who represent no one in As-Suwayda are acting like a terrorist organization, targeting Syria's territorial integrity. There are unfair criticisms regarding a Terror-Free Turkey made from time to time; we respond to them, but we are currently focused on the healthy progress of the disarmament process.

QUESTION REGARDING THE TERROR-FREE TURKEY COMMISSION

Our Speaker of Parliament is conducting a series of political visits to implement this within days. The goal is for all elements to be included in an inclusive manner. The Speaker's Office is working on the numbers. Our Speaker of Parliament is doing valuable work. What matters is that everyone comes and expresses their ideas. There are some marginal ideas. All of these are contrary to the nature of politics. These are ideas that deepen the de-politicization.

When everyone puts forward their opinion while discussing an issue related to Turkey's agenda, justice is served. For a party to say 'I am staying out of this' means they are working to weaken the process. Saying 'this party should not enter there' is aimed at weakening the foundation of politics. You state your objections, you state your agreements. In such major issues, it is extremely valuable for everyone to take responsibility as part of this issue and express their objections. Labeling something as treason instead of conducting the discussion on a political basis when there is no debate is to weaken politics.

Mr. Özgür Özel said, 'We supported the Eurofighter issue, Mr. Erdoğan should thank us.' Of course, we thank everyone who supports Turkey's national issues, but we remember not Mr. Özel's words supporting Turkey's national issues abroad, but his words complaining about Turkey. As the CHP Chairman, we would like to hear Mr. Özel thank our President thousands of times in capital letters for the great investments and great 'revolutions' he has brought to Turkey.

We have been saying for a long time that there should be no embargoes or sanctions, especially among NATO allies. Our purchase of pistols had been rejected. Since that day, our defense industry has achieved great things. They want to see the point Turkey has reached at IDEF. We say that sanctions and obstacles between allies are wrong.
