The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM), affiliated with the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, issued a statement regarding the "hacking" claims circulating on social media about the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS). The DMM stated that there has been no breach in the security of the MHRS.
The DMM emphasized that posts on some social media accounts claiming that "MHRS was hacked and patient information was leaked" do not reflect the truth, declaring that such content is part of a deliberate disinformation campaign.
ONLY ONE CITIZEN'S INFORMATION WAS COMPROMISED
As a result of investigations conducted by the Ministry of Health, it was stated that no data leak belonging to the MHRS system was detected. The statement indicated that only one citizen's user information was compromised due to a security breach originating from the end-user.
POSSIBILITY OF MALICIOUS SOFTWARE
The DMM stated that the compromised information may have been obtained through malicious software that infiltrated the relevant citizen's device. The Ministry confirmed that there was no breach in the security of the MHRS system.
