According to the latest earthquake data from the Kandilli Observatory and AFAD, the epicenter of the earthquake was determined to be the Kale district of Malatya. 5.9 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE

According to the latest earthquake lists from the Kandilli Observatory and AFAD, the magnitude of the earthquake was determined to be 5.9. It was reported that the tremor occurred at a depth of approximately 10.07 kilometers.

The impact of the earthquake was felt in Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Kahramanmaraş, Tokat, and Adıyaman, as well as in Malatya. Citizens who felt the earthquake in the city center of Malatya went outside for safety reasons.

30 AFTERSHOCKS OCCURRED

Aftershocks are continuing in the Kale district of Malatya.

According to AFAD data, aftershocks with magnitudes of 3.0 occurred at 11:08, 2.5 at 11:12, and 2.1 at 11:13.

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), 30 aftershocks have occurred following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake at 10:46.

It was determined that the aftershocks occurred in the magnitude range of 1.2 to 3.
