Waterspout in the Gulf of İskenderun caught on camera
A waterspout that formed over the sea in Hatay's Gulf of İskenderun was captured on mobile phone cameras by citizens. The natural phenomenon, which caused brief panic, dissipated before reaching the shore.

Clearly visible from the coastal areas, the waterspout drew the attention of citizens in the vicinity.

In the footage recorded with mobile phones, the waterspout was seen moving across the sea surface and losing its intensity after a short while.
