Thunderstorm warning from the Meteorological Service: November 5 report released

General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) latest assessments indicate that the Southern Aegean, as well as the surroundings of Bartın, Zonguldak, Bolu, Düzce, and Antalya, along with the southern parts of Isparta, the southern and eastern parts of Burdur, the eastern parts of Adana, and the western parts of Osmaniye are expected to experience showers and occasional thunderstorms.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the vicinity of Muğla. Patchy fog and mist are expected in the interior and eastern regions during the morning and night hours.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

Since precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the vicinity of Muğla, caution and vigilance are required against negative conditions such as flash floods, flooding, lightning, local hail, the risk of tornadoes, and disruptions to transportation.

STRONG WIND WARNING

Since the wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southerly and southwesterly directions in the north and west of Marmara and the Coastal Aegean, caution and vigilance are required against negative conditions such as falling trees and poles, roof damage, and transportation disruptions.

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers in the vicinity of Bilecik and Sakarya during the morning hours. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southerly directions in the north and west of the region.
